KinVention North 2004 is fast approaching. :)
I realize I'm a little behind with advertising this year, but life has been rather full lately.
KN04 will be held on March 12-14 weekend. We've got an exciting gather lined up, with (barring unforseen acts of nature) Chicago-based band URN performing, the Fae Formal, workshops, seminars, and the traditional trip to the Mongolian Grill.
We've still got a few spots open for workshops-- if anyone is interested in presenting a workshop or moderating a discussion *on a topic of interest/benefit to the community*, please drop me an email with your name and a brief description of your workshop/discussion, and we'll go from there. I'd like to hear from people before the end of December, please. We've had requests for the ever-popular Reiki for Fae again; ShifterDave will be presenting a course on channeling energy into the physical ("Break A Board With The Wolf"); other confirmed presenters include Michelle Belanger of House Kheperu and Crisses of Kinhost.org.
Prices this year are $40 CDN pre-reg (which I'm extending to the beginning of March) or $45 CDN at the door. The hotel raised its prices-- consequently the convention is just a shade more expensive. Rooms are $95 CDN per night at the convention rate, and there's a limited number, so book early! Remember, the more pre-registrations we receive, the better the Hospitality Suite gets. :)
