This is a message from Kalwein, AKA, Ben. Hello to you all. I've not posted to lists in a while, mostly due to insane time requirements in my life...
I figure a good chunk of the Kin populace is probably affected by the weak economy. Since these days my mundane job encompasses doing some tech recruiting for the consulting firm I work for, I've created a group where I will be posting jobs. These are consulting jobs that have not hit the street yet, and are only available to a few firms. They will range from basic PC tech support to CTO's, from Coordinators to Program Managers, from Unix Sysadmins to MVS Systems Programmers. Assignments last anywhere from 1-3 months to 10-15 years. 6mos to 1 year long assigments are the norm.
I *KNOW* there are sufficient geeks out there that might be interested. I am specifically opening these jobs for consideration by Kin, family, friends and associates. While Kin are *NOT* getting actual preference, they are effectively getting early notification of some hard to find jobs. Credentials will be reviewed on the same basis as all others.
