Hi everyone,
Due to a smaller turnout than expected, and some circumstances forcing us to consider other options to get numbers up, we're publicising a few of the activities at AusGather 2004 as public events for anyone to attend. This means that payment of the cover charge of $60 is not necessary. However, it also means that anyone attending public events won't reeive name tags, programs or T-shirts. The few events we are opening up are those which are not covered by cover charge funds -- things which do not require us to purchase materials or food, or hire venues. The only charge for these events will be the costs of transport and the charges for the specific places we're visiting.

The public events are:
- What: Taronga Zoo visit
- When: Tuesday 20th January; 10 am - 5 pm
- Where: Meet at Circular Quay wharf to catch a ferry to the zoo. Or
co-ordinate by phone to meet at the zoo itself.
- What: Jenolan Caves visit
- When: Friday 23rd January; 9 am - (until the cave tour ends and we return to
Sydney)
- Where: Meet at Prince Alfred Park Hotel, 207 Cleveland street, Sydney.
- What: Australian Museum visit
- When: Saturday 24th January; 10:30 am - 1 pm
- Where: Meet at the Australian Museum, Cnr. College street and William street,
Sydney.
