  • Maybe we should require a sanity check before we go encouraging people to pair off with nutcases? LOL What's a good otherkin sanity check? Oh, nevermind, I give up -- I can't think of any that *I* would pass (XES)
  • Perhaps make it invite-only for a time while it gets off the ground? Ask potential mentors to fill out a questionnaire or "scenario list" to see how they'd respond to certain common "newbie" situations? -- a lot of this might end up being rather tyrrannical and actually put potential proteges off, but there are a lot of flaky people out there who wouldn't necessarily help.
